Super Collider and Residency at University of California, Irvine

Events comprising my February 18-20 residency at the University of California, Irvine centered around the performance of my propulsive, noise-centric, sci-fi score to Super Collider choreographed by Chad Michael Hall in collaboration with his 25 energetic, athletic, dancers.  I also presented Does it Really Work (see Workshops and Residencies) to choreography students and accompanied his first. live modern dance class since the onset of the pandemic.  With the biggest cast that, I think, has ever performed to any of my music, spectacular lighting, and high impact, visually stunning choreography, this piece was a big success.  Here's a link to a dress run through of Super Collider shot on Chad's iPhone from the seats at the Irvine Barclay Theater, University of California, Irvine.  Hopefully a professionally shot video will become available at some point but, as this rehearsal was attended mainly by a boisterous audience of fellow cast members and friends, I sure do enjoy this audience's enthusiasm.

Chains (for Vibraphone and Piano) Score and Score Revisions

In August 2020 the score to Chains (for Vibraphone and Piano) went out of print and the publishing rights were reverted back to David Karagianis.  If you are interested in purchasing a copy of this score (for $20 US each) please make your request via the Contact page on this website.

Since the original printed publication of this score David made a few small, but important, revisions to this score.  These changes may be heard in the recording of Chains (for Vibraphone and Piano) on David's album Dog Dreams performed by members of the Athens, Greece based ARTefacts Ensemble.
